Brazilian Navy dock at the Wharf
DON'T panic... the Brazilian's are not invading Canary Wharf.
Some may have been a bit surprised at seeing a 130m long ship dock at Thames Quay but it is just a friendly visit by the Brazilian Navy.
The ship and its 400 crew arrived in London on Friday as part of an annual round the world training trip.
On its return to Brazil, 158 of the crew will become second lieutenants.
As well as providing training, the aim of the ship's voyage is to strengthen Brazil's relationships with other nations.
And with this in mind the crew have invited members of the public to take a look onboard.
Called 'Brasil' the training ship sails around the world every year. It is due to leave for Barcelona tomorrow (Tuesday).
